Have you thought of starting over? Starting from scratch? Starting from nothing? Starting again? There is no ‘end’ meaning to those words, just new beginnings.
Or have you ever just known it was time to start something new? To trust in the magic of beginning with a new script? Perhaps, in beginning again you have to experience a difficult ending, and in that thought, you hold yourself back. Maya Angelou said it best, “Stepping onto a brand new path may be difficult, but not more difficult than remaining in a situation which is not nurturing to your whole being.”
Every single morning you can make a choice; choosing to be a beginner helps you let go of what doesn’t work and creates room for you to embrace and engage in a more passionate inspiring manner. When you open up to the possibilities of beginning again, you are able to welcome in new opportunities. By re-establishing yourself in a new framework, one can find inspiration and motivation. By shaping just a small change in your perspective, you can completely change everything – even your self-esteem and confidence will be bolstered.
Having to start over and choosing to start over are two entirely different things. My story today is focused on those who choose to start again for whatever the reason. By making some life changes, you can move away from your present position with confidence as you walk toward a new journey of discovery. To create the change you desire, set a long-term goal of where you see yourself a year or so down the road, then break it down into shorter-term goals and work on them over the ensuing weeks and months.
None of us know what the future holds, so warmly receive each moment for those moments are the only ones we know we will have for sure.
“We attain freedom as we let go of whatever does not reflect our magnificence, A bird cannot fly high or far with a stone tied to its back. But release the impediment, and we are free to soar to unprecedented heights.”
