If I have been radio-silent for a while, it was with good reason. I have been simmering over a bit of censorship I have been experiencing. As a writer I take the First Amendment to the US Constitution to heart. As a United States citizen, I am promised that I will not be abridged in my freedom of speech or of the Press. Yet, my recent post about President Carter, which illuminated the greatness in the man and had nothing to do with politics, was not allowed to be promoted to an expanded audience. If you are a Follower, you would still receive the post in your “Feed” but my words and sentiments would not be allowed to be shared globally. The work I am called on to do is important work, and so this denial to lift the post to a greater audience left me with a stinging welt! But all that being said, I am a tumbleweed…I roll and rumble about easily. Also, I am married to a goat; albeit a sure-footed goat but an old billy bucker just the same. Allowing my flighty nature to be tamed by the old goat’s wise words, I have single-handedly restored order in my kingdom and now this fairy goddess can go back to doing what is important to her soul.
I have been thinking a lot about the impactful changes we are seeing in the world today. These thoughts lead me back to the way of thinking that we are all in this together. Our world is facing catastrophic events to the likes that we have never seen before. I try to take it day by day and weigh each action against the result, and I think this formula is one most any prudent person would take – Democrat or Republican. I think it would help in this quest to better humanity if we could find a way to make the criticism die down.
With that being said, I can’t help but thinking we, as individuals, are all just one small adjustment away from making our lives work beautifully. The measures that we must now take to remain connected to each other must dominate our process, and that is a good thing. The slow draw has us all becoming more unhurried, and I think that is a phenomenal place from which to rise. In my own self-examination, I am reaching for that one small adjustment. I find I am inhaling more of the abundance I am promised and exhaling my appreciation to all I encounter!
You see, I want to ensure that I make it to the other side when this whole life is over. I, for one, am not taking any chances!

As a Spiritual Anarchist I decided long ago not take any political stance. From what I have witnessed, the Declaration of Independence states a government of the people, by the people and for the people, but it has become a government of the people, by the people contorted by the rich against the people. I will take no part in any of it. I also refuse to say the pledge of allegiance because it hasn’t been the United States for years. It ought to be called the fractured states of corruption. It’s sad to see how far from what was intended to be so frustratingly skewed.
Keep you feelings, your heart, your passion, your faith, and most of hope. Hope is optimistic. Looking for the best even when the worst is enviable. Stay strong. I stand with you.❤️
I feel your presence, Maj. I believe that was destined. It is a beautiful day here on the Suncoast, I am sending you some rays of sunshine in hopes they reach you up north. -d.j.
