The year 2022 is now ended. In the final months of 2022, the world’s rhythm underwent a tremendous modulation. We all witnessed the ravages of the war-torn nation of Ukraine, and I believe, we all felt its impact, in one way or another, on our security here at home. As a result, many stepped up their devotions in each forward step they made. Now, I am all for change, I even go so far as to say it is essential to growth; but the year 2022 brought so many changes, many profound, it’s been hard to find the way back to a normal pace.
Indeed, the recognition that our needs have changed has led us to make our daily lives our living prayers. During the months of the 2020 pandemic, we had to rely on our convictions – both old and the newly fashioned. During that frightful time, my awareness was heightened by the blessings I had received while the virus was raging. There was a great birth of unity that resulted from that occurrence. The revitalization of the American spirit, which was demonstrated by the grace bestowed around me, had me embracing the “coming together force of energies” that drove the world in resetting to a new rhythm.
Whether we like it or not, all the world’s inhabitants are dependent on each other. It is foolish to believe we can make it through without help. If we approach what is in front of us in 2023 with vigorous, energetic uses of initiative, and apply forcefulness where needed, we will endure and we can find our way through to a place of peace.
Relationships of all kinds are given to us to make us conscious. They keep us realigned with our higher purpose. I practice reaching a conscious-self by inhaling abundance and exhaling appreciation to all those souls around me. And, where this practice is not one that was propelled by world events, but one I have always prescribed to, its practice can help anyone reach a greater awareness.
So, I say, Goodbye to 2022 – I am not sorry to see you go. I seriously look forward to 2023 where I intend to apply the changes needed to my own self to live a life that is more heavily-weighted in kindness and love.
